aladdin blue flame

    this was my dad's old stove, i cleaned it up a touch and fitted a new wick.
    left most of the morning to soak. lit it but only got a very low flame,
    here is a photo, have i done something wrong ?
    the wick moves up ok and wheel is free to turn easy.
    your help please chaps!!!

    I run mine with a low blue flame.
    The heat is a slow but a constant heat.

    Maybe the wick is not properly fitted to the carrier ? Been many years since I have worked on a blue flame heater.

    Perhaps the wick is charred. Did you trim it?

    Aladdin series 32 heater

    This was what I had with my Series 32.

    Also make sure that the wick has been pulled up to the top stops in the carrier.

    The chimney needs to be clear as well.
