Looks to be in fine original condition. Nice old pen and ink bottle to go with it.

Thank you, yes I'm a newbie. I have been doing some research on this Model R and this site has given me great information. This lamp has been passed down through the family not really knowing exactly what it is.
After finding how rare it is I thought I should share it with people who really appreciate its beauty.

That’s a lovely looking lamp @Jombo and I’m quite jealous.

It is original. I'm not sure if I should have it looked at by a professional to make sure it stays in this condition. I turned the valve on the tank and there is still pressure in the tank!

I don't mean to make anyone jealous, I just thought it's a beautiful lamp and needed to be shared. As far as I know it doesn't have any real faults. The globe is not chipped and if it were cleaned up internally I'm sure it would work.

I'm curious, is there someone here in central Ohio I can trust to look this lamp over and tell me what needs to be done to make it light again? Also an estimate of how much it will cost.

Awesome piece @Jombo ! If you don't have any luck finding a helper here, come over to the CCF. We have several capable members in the Ohio area. If it's passing air I suspect it'll fire right up.
