tilley il47 information.

    im about to restore a tilley il47, just wondering if anyone has decals for this lamp and if possible i need some technical information about the brass suspension rods, i need to know if possible what diameter brass is used and the length of the rod used as im going to have to replace the chains the lamp has and make replicas. thanks for any help.

    Although not listed on ebay, arty_pharty (Ian) makes a waterslide decal for the IL47.

    Hi Paul,
    Here are the dimensions of the brass suspension rods.
    The diameter of the rod: 4mm
    The length of the rod: 188mm
    The length of the figure 8 loops: 38mm
    Please take these as approximate sizes as they were measured by me = an amateur.
