1939 Petromax 828

Hi everyone,
Here we have one Petromax 828 made in July 1939 (could also be 1940 since the scratch is kind of bad)

Anyways a very nice and used but not abused lantern !

 

It's in good nick.

Was the blue like that before fettling, or did you enhance the colour?

It looks greenish-blue to me.
It does look pretty.
Seems like you've hauled in some old Petromaxes in fine condition lately.

 

It was a dark green before i sanded it down to the blue original color.
