    All,
I got the below Aladdin serie 8 at a car boot sales.
After a bit of T&C, it is looking better.
I ordered a new wicks and mika windows.
I am unsure if I have all the parts.
Should I use the same fuel I used for heating at home, or should I use the alcool for buners?

How do you clean the tank?

    Antoine

    This is a kerosene/paraffin heater.
Never! put in alcohols or volatile fuels like gasoline/petrol !

    Welcome @nimco123

I have looked carefully at your Aladdin heater pictures and it seems identical to my Aladdin Series 15 units. I think it worth looking at some Series 15 Aladdins online to check. The series 15 heaters do have slight variations too within that series. The winder may be round or octagonal for example.

Here is one of mine for comparison:

With hindsight it did look the same, except mine also was a series 8.
I believe now that the 8 has the twisted frame and the series 15 has flat straight uprights.
Discovered this after realising my two were different when they were side by side.
