This depends on what your collecting focus would be (in the future). The Continental is a seriously rare lantern, and most collectors would see it as a "must-have".
I personally have more focus on Hasag, and therefore would take the 355L. I have also many Hasag spares to restore these lamps / lanterns if something is broken or missing.

    Thank you @WimVe and @Martin K.
I bought Continental, mostly because it looks super cool, was a bit cheaper and probably is a less common lamp. Maybe I will try to save money for 355L to buy it later. I am still curious about the voting final results :)
Thank you for sharing your opinions, at least I know that both of these lamps are of comparable value and choice depends on personal preferences. I try to focus more on oldest/uncommon Petromax lamps, so both HASAG and Continental are something extra for me.
@Martin K. Some pics of HASAG below. I guess most likely WWII production, but let me know if I am wrong.
Continental will be hopefully posted some day after "restoration". I am quite terrified about that mica...
Interesting that the seller is not a collector. He just happened to have such a lamps amongst his usual military stuff.
    all the best ,
