Quite often the pump valve does not have any washer. If it does it is made of lead and will be the same size as the 1200 (pretty much every Swedish lamp ot stove for that matter). I'm not sure about the size of the lead washer for the vapouriser to tank fitting. Possibly the same. The filler cap is a different size rubber washer than the 1200 and needs to be 18mm OD and 10mm ID. Use at least nitrile rubber or the best is viton. I believe washers are available from the Fettle Box.

Maybe you were thinking of the pump leather. This is the same size as the 1200 (and others).

One more question at optimus 930. How meny times i should pump more pressure when the lamp is started?

I have notice the light is a littlebit unstabile, i´m not sure should i put there more pressure, i have usully given about 10 pumps maybe that is not enough? Or maybe there is tiny leak somewhere..

You can test if the tank is seal by submersing it into a bucket of water.

10 strokes are not enough, even if the tank is completely filled.Pump until the light doesn't get brighter any more.

Pump it until your thumb hurts. That's enough. :)

Now im testing Optimus with more pressure, and it´s more brighter now
I think it´s more self pressurising that my tilley because Optimus have a smaller tank.

    That is my vision..

The Optimus 930 tank does get quite warm when it is running. This helps to keep the pressure up. It might still need a pump every now and agin though. Great lamps that are user friendly and they look good.

My 930 works fine, but one question about the sound.
When it´s running there is sound like normal "sssshhhhh" and there is another sound like hornet afterburner!
    is that normal situation?
Maybe you have some fun about this question but it´s ok

How much did you pump?

 Perhaps something has loosened, check that the ceramic nozzle has a tight fit but don't break it.

Have a look at the jet that it is tight, there is nothing else that you could check...

You might have an "underburn", meaning that the gasses are burning inside the mixing tube.
That often gives a "Humming" or "Buzzing" sound.
When this happens, the u-shaped mixing tube generally glows after a while. It might even melt if the lamp is run too long.

Good objection, I have heard the 930 are prone to glowing u-tubes, luckiliy not the one I have.

It might cause this sound as Christer wrote.

There is not much to adjust but you can put a steel or brass washer under the beading of the u-tube to raise it a little.

The ceramic nozzle still fits and holds everything in place but the distance to the jet is a little bigger.

This might help to get a better air/fuel mixture and a better burn. Worth a try...

930s are loud under full throttle. Nothing to worry about. ::Neil::
