Gidday everyone. I don't have a full subscription (like many others) to post to the library. Thought some might find helpful the attached instructions for the above lantern. It appears my Tilley was made in Ireland given the locations stated in the instructions of Dunmurry, Belfast & Northern Ireland.
@Konrad Thanks. If the tank was made in Dunmurry, it should have a date on the bottom. The X246A sometimes appears as having an earlier X246 tank, so a photo of your X246A would be useful. Cheers Tony
Gidday Tony. Have checked underneath the lantern. No date. Just stamped Made in United Kingdom. Pic of box & tank attached. I know its circa mid to late 1960's as this was when my father purchased the lantern from new. Am currently updating the washers etc hence why in pieces.
