What is this pump for?

    It came with a box of Vapalux lamps and parts, it’s 6” long and has a lock. Thanks.

    Hello Jean, no worries and I have not seen a pump exactly like that one before, but it looks like a blowlamp pump to me.

    Remeniscent of a monitor pump, heres one on a no5 stove. They also did blow lamps.

    Very much like British Military stoves such as the No.2, No.3 and No.12, the staple retains the pump rod to stop it interfering with case lids etc.

    That sounds about right Alec, the seller was ex military and the Vapalux lamps are military too. Pity he didn’t have a stove too.
