For some time now, I have been selling digital 3D models of replica knobs for various Swedish storm lanterns such as PRIMUS, OPTIMUS, and RADIUS on my Cults3D page (Joffes_). Since many don’t have access to a 3D printer (especially a resin one needed for these kinds of detail), I now sell these knobs as physical products as well. (For examples, see images at the bottom) Currently, I have a limited quantity available, but I will gradually restock them over time if there is enough interest. Price is 39 SEK (~4 USD) for bigger models and 29 SEK (~3 USD) for smaller models. The items will be shipped using PostNord, the Swedish postal service, which offers the following options: • Insured, not tracked: approx. 180 SEK (19 USD) • Tracked (strongly recommended): approx. 122 SEK (13 USD) • Untracked (only for low-value/light items): approx. 66 SEK (7 USD) A little info: The knobs are mainly decorative, but do, of course, also work as knobs since they are basically 1:1 replicas. They are 3D printed in color-matching resin and, like the digital ones, made to match the originals as closely as possible. Resin provides sharper details and better strength than regular filament prints, but it is, of course, still not an original part – material, finish and feel differ from the classic bakelite/fiber. Less visible layer lines or slight print artifacts may occur, which is normal for 3D printed objects. Please note that metal inserts, washers, nuts, or similar items are NOT included.
