Wildly off topic but I gave up on the stove site a while ago now. Got this recently to fulfil a boyhood dream. Fettled it, replaced the seals and away she went! Comes with both roarer and silent burners as standard. So happy! We had such a nice day on this remote Scottish beach ... without tourists. The location is something of a secret which is how come it's so quiet - just the way we like it! Moderators, feel free to remove the post as I can't pretend it's a lantern!
@ColinG well if you can change the burners, why not see if you can screw a lantern to it instead. There you go, a Frankie project for you Tim
I wondered where you'd got too, Colin. Hope you're well up there? That's a nice stove and a wonderful, secluded location to use it. A friend of mine lives on Mull - last time I visited (3 years or so) you could sit on similar beaches for hours and not see a soul. Bliss!! Must say, I don't use the CCS forum either, but I am registered there, I guess I just decided there was enough info already out there to start fettling. I really like the little Primus 96's and have 3 of them, along with a couple of no 5's and a 54. Wouldn't mind a nickel plate version, but their seemingly rare snd consequently bloody expensive. All the best anyway mate. Stuart.
