Could someone let me know if the generator shown is a Primus generator to fit the Primus 1050 & 1051 Primus lanterns.
The photos show the generator along side a Coleman R55.
I have checked at Fogas which shows a generator but the detail is not clear enough for me to be sure i have the correct generator. 20260727_120340.jpg 20260727_120412.jpg

    Not sure.
Don't see why it wouldn't work if the threads are compatible.
AGM made some similar roto generators.

The generator shown on the picture is suitable for the 1050 and 1051. Even an R55 will work fine too

Originally 1050 used a generator without cleaning device. Probably a cost reduction but very inconvenient. I think it was replaced with the one with cleanin needle, used on 1051 after a short period. So let's say it is for a 1051but Will of course fit a 1050.

The generators for the Primus 1051 came in two versions. The earlier version was much like a Coleman R55, but with some small differences. An example can be seen in this thread. The later version could be screwed apart and was more practical. An example can be seen in this thread.

As has been mentioned already by Bo, the 1050 did not have a generator with a cleaning mechanism. They would originally have had a generator much like a Coleman Q77 generator. However, it is not uncommon to find 1050s that have had a generator with cleaning needle fitted.
