Hi. I was given a kl80 tilley lamp today in a bit rough condition and not 100 percent complete but it is different in the hood area than pictures I have found on internet . Can anybody help me find out why ? Thanks in advance
Hi @Ross Hayes A few more photos would confirm but it may be part of a frost heater on the top? They usually have a table lamp galley that sits on top of the vapouriser cheers pb
Hi. You were exactly right with the top being from a frost lamp as it had little lugs where it obviously attached to its base. I have had a busy weekend with my 12 yr old son and it now has transformed into a lovely piece of kit that will not only look nice but function well too. Just couple more bits to go and done.
