Anyone tried repairing a worn or oversize jet by annealing then using drift tools to close up the hole slightly?
On another subject... My Veritas ran for only an hour before going dull and brown. Then I played with the needle control, whereupon it gave a great yellow flame, then settled down to a lovely bright white flame. Sound like jet / needle issue to you? I'll need to shut it down and start it up again to test it.
