I read the fine tutorial on the CCF, http://www.oldcolemanparts.com/resources/re_2lant_a.php

and came away wondering how i would ever get the valve out of an old and abused 132 Lamp i just got. I'll post some pics before I really do anything visible, and then as the work progresses. But I was really motivated to pull the valve. there is no air stem with the lamp so i will need to track one of them down.

Ok, back to the valve. The CCF tutorial made it clear that pulling the brass valve body was risky and no fun. I don't have a screwdriver that big and didn't want to bung up theinternal threads with an E Z Out. Hmmm.....into the tool box, and out with a 1/2 inch spade bit. The point is a loose fit into the valve and the blades fit the valve PERFECTLY. Pics to follow... It came out with a smile. piper 1351123497-PA241163.JPG 1351123521-PA241160.JPG 1351123560-PA241158.JPG 1351123568-PA241155.JPG

    Hello Piper

Once the idea is born it's simple. Great find and one to remember.
