Hello to all lamp enthusiasts and collectors. I'm paul, i'm 34, i live in Norwich where i work as a chef. In my spare time i like to find and restore tilley and vapalux lamps. I started off restoring the basic models like the x246a/b and vapalux 300x. Now i've found some rareties that i'm working on such as the tilley pl53, tilley wall lamp and a tilley il47 which i'm trying to restore to its original look. I have quite a backup of spares for tilley/ vapalux lamps and i'd be willing to exchange/ sell these as i need a part or two for the projects i'm working on. Hi, sorry i dont have any of the stepped globes, i sold my 320 a while back, i've only got straight sided globes left. I'm looking for 3 brass air buttons for a pl53 and gallery springs for another project. Glad to know some members are close, could be handy later!
Base camp had some pl buttons recently,,,otherwise its the trade section on here or the bay of evil,,,nice chap yarmouth way is on there,he's a good source of parts....
