    Never heard of them but it looks like the bottom half of some sort of Petromax clone.

    BTW, if you follow the red text in the File Manager instructions i.e. click on either 'Full Size' or 'Thumbnail' as appropriate, that will add your image directly into your post and save us all having to click on the little white cross in the green box and then on the link - thanks!

    Hi Stormie,

    I believe that would be Meeno Miser, produced by CJN Adams and called the Work Horse; first one on THIS page.

    I have one, it's in this HERE

    Here's the LINK for the manufacturer.

    If you are in need of parts I have a few extra hard parts.

    The small valve is simply a positive shutoff for the fuel. Probably put on there so you could leave pressure in the lantern, but with a quick starter I wouldn't advise it.

    The 288 globe will fit just fine.

    No help on the date other than the company was started in 1995, but that doesn't mean they started assembling lanterns at that time. I kinda looked around when I got mine but I do not believe they are still assembling them.

    yep thats one thing we will never know if they were made before that year but still being made in 95 the darn thing does have age to it ; theres a guy i deal with in the state of ohio who has one ;seems there are a few around ;wish thur whom ever had it before left the tag on the collar ;as i am cleaning and checking things it seems it was used very often ;thats a good thing but we will see once i get the thing cleaned and add some fuel but first comes the water test for pin holes if any or leaks ;these things are easy to repair once you get the hang of them ;i have been coleman and akron all these years but the kerosene ones are neat now this one makes 4 :lol: let you know the out come ;again thanks and have a great 4th im staying home where its safer ;
