Bialaddin Bowlfire guards.

Last year 'kerophile' produced a batch of guards for Bowlfire heaters based on a fruit bowl sold in the UK. As kerophile appears to no longer be an active member of CCS or CPL, I feel it is OK to post this.

The fruit bowls will be available from Thursday 25th July in UK Lidl stores at £4.99 each ( Link - may not work outside the UK):



They just need to be modified with the addition of a retaining clip at the top and bottom. My Bowlfire:

Active? I wouldn't call it that.
But he is still reading now and then.
Especially CCS.

 

Just purchased a fruit bowl fire guard from my local Lidl,shame it isn't completely flat across the top,but a bit of careful tweaking should get it to line up with bowl,it looks much better than the hanging basket version....at £3.99 i think
