Since I'm obviously dozy (and haven't got 5000 of anything to spare), would someone be so good as to PT me the link to this so I can be in on it, too. Many thanks in advance.

It's awfully lonely out here in the cold...

OK, belay that - I found it. I thought it was going to be the long-lost crate of VL1s we're all hoping to find one day.

Anyway, I seriously need one of those - but at a fraction of the price, of course... [-o<

Yes - on a BIN, it works out at €3423.45 or £2942.70. A tad optimistic methinks...

Still, Stephan, you could always start the bidding at a mere AU $3000... ](*,)

Steve said: "I guess AU $5,000.00"...

Yes, the dollar that was, for quite a long period of time, worth more than that green stuff from parts of North America and the Pacific.

    At the moment $1.00AUD =

    0.91 USD
    0.70 Euro
    0.60 GBP
    0.95 CAD
    0.90 JPY

    Cheers

    Tony

    I'm 42.

I wonder is there a back story. Being made sell it, and asking for an obscene price because they want to keep it.

    The winning bid was staggering.
