    A recent scout camp in the wilds of county cork. 3 M320s. one of the glows is the fire being lit. You are probably wondering why it is bright. I find it easier to get scouts to do the lighting when they can see what is going on. Dusk was 40 mins later. Be Prepared.

    Great fun, wish i was 45 years younger,,,,do they still put slugs and snails on top of the lamps to hear (and smell) them sizzle..

    No, never tried that, and I hope my scouts havn't either. If they did they would have to eat it the poor critter. Troops rule to justify (prevent) merciless killing.

    Takes me back. Been there and done that so many times in my 40 odd years as a Scout and Scout leader. A very nostalgic picture and thanks. ::Neil::

    The only thing you should be putting on top of a lamp is a (sweet) mince pie in it's foil dish... :thumbup:

    Yes ,a mince pie would be better,maybe my fellow scouts were a bit more mischeivious,,I fondly remember my camping trips with the scouts and later with the army cadets when I was a youngster ,so much freedom from the stricter teachers at school and an oppertunity to learn so much about the outdoors,,cracking photo...
