Hi, Im the new kid on the block. Probably the first one from Singapore. I've just gotten my first ever pressure lantern last week from a local store. Not a very fantastic one but enough for me to join the people here. its a Butterfly 826/350cp. I did spray paint the hood black because it got discolored after the first use and I don't like bluish look on metals. Also clear coat the body to buy time before it really starts rusting. I've used hurricane lanterns in the past. So here it is...

I have a Petromax 150 coming end of the month. I can't wait any longer

A new hobby is what I'm afraid of now. It isn't good for the health of my wallet which has to keep up with the other existing things hobbies I have  But all this lighting gadget of the past all seems so interesting so hard to resist

I picked this Deitz 50 today at an old hardware, They looked through their storage and found it.

Also today, I do have to admit I have a nasty habit of stuffing light bulbs into faulty hurricane lanterns

That one tho its a hurricane, it doesn't take a lot of wind to wipe the flame out and with a leaky tank? Just another junk from the east. So I thought this is another way for it to shed light :content:

    Wellcome Fuzzy.
I dont have the Butterfly lantern yet. Yours looks fine  .
You seem to have a wide range in lamp collecting. I think its cheaper just to collect a narrow line of lamps - ex just pressurelamps O:) Though I do own some wicklamps too like the rest in here. Here you can see a thread about it:
