Regarding Tilleys in general.

    Were any Tilley products ever marked as being of N. Ireland manufacture?

    Good question - I think Dunmurry and so on was commonly seen on the boxes and paperwork but not on the lanterns where, IIRC, they preferred 'United Kingdom'. Globes often had the Union Jack sticker(?) on them...

    Yes, I've seen Hendon, England and United Kingdom.

    Just vaguely interested as it would be nice to have one marked from "home".

    Any pictures of the Dunmurry factory? Is it still standing?

    I don't think it's still there David.

    There's an industrial estate on the site, which I think is new build.

    BT17 9HN ‎would be the rough postcode if you want to have a look on Google Earth.

    I thought all the N I ones were marked as made in the UK.

    I think you're probably right, it was just idle curiosity on my part.
