Got my hands on a 1954 Bialaddin with a Military stamp. It must have seen active service, as it has a bullet hole in the Globe :^o . Is this the correct Globe for this model and age?

I knew this day would come! Might as well give a donkey a tomahawk to use. It is a 305 model. the hole is original and there for lighting. Have seen one on the site before, but was not sure if it is correct, (still trying to avoid posting a picture!!)
I will sort my life out and try to post a picture, a man of my talents, should be easy :^o

Oh, I understand what you mean, now - a lighting hole.

Definitely not the correct globe for that lantern and one you should look after carefully. They're from the early Vapalux lanterns and becoming quite scarce...

I had my suspicions as to the type of globe and its scarcity. Sorry about the the first post, I had been increasing the value of Guinness shares earlier, "I know what I meant".
    Thanks for your help.

Now I have a Globe that is not correct for the 305, I suppose it would be wrong not to find a lamp to fit it to! Help is required. What lamp should I look out for. My lamp collection is growing at an alarming pace.

You could always have a look at some of the lamps and lanterns in here - and try not to drool on your keyboard...
