I am wondering about the availability of vaporiser tubes or if they are the same design as the lanterns?
If it's an actual search light then you'd best send it to me. On a serious note, yes vapourisers are widely available on ebay. Same as most other Tilley's, you'll need the 7" or 169.
Sorry Bob , what was the difference other than the "Search light' was mounted on a stand? I lost on one a while ago..but was wondering about what would be required, for tubes etc.?
They could both be had on stands. The searchlight is larger and with a shallow, concave mirror in the back which could be moved for and aft on some examples to allow focussing. The FL6 has a parabolic reflector directly behind the mantle.
