AL21 help..

    I am fettling a Tilley AL21. It is missing the wooden handle and finding a replacement is proving almost impossible.
    However I see a similar handle is on the SL61 Hospital/Military lamp. Can anyone tell me if it is the same dimensions please as I have neither to compare.

    I'm reasonably sure that the AL21 handle is also the same as the 1940's R1 Heater - which might be easier to find than an SL61.

    Thanks for your reply.
    I can get the SL61 handle online (Kibworth has some listed on the Bay) but have not seen an R1 handle. I just need confirmation that the SL61 and the AL21 are, in fact identical before I get one. Unless of course, someone has an R1 handle for sale on here by any chance?
