What have I to do with this? Is there anything to do to fit it or just to change the burner? It is a TL

    Hi Juan,

    Did you preheat it properly?

Have you cleaned any cobwebs out of the burner?

It is probably the vapouriser that is knackered.

    Thanks James,

Just need to check nr2. I try with three different vapourisers including a brand new 606. The one on the picture is from a PL53 and with the PL53 top on it Works great (no sense to post it here). It is something with the burner.

Is it possible to take it apart?

    Juan

Yes the burner comes apart, although you may need to heat and quench it a few times.

I seem to remember I had a Tilley burner that ran like that, and when I took it apart I found out that the "injector tube" - part 212 on the diagram below was missing.

Thank you again. I'll try to pre heat it more because it used to work fine so the injector tuve must be there, I guess.

Interesting, my PL-53 does that as well with a brand new 606 and a freshly cleaned out burner. Maybe I need an injector tube as well. Miserable beast...

I tried everything, with or without globe, mantle, eetc. I now swaped the burner with my ex BR X246 and it runs fine. Well, my daughter will travel there on june and I guess she may buy a burner there. Where exactly?
