Veritas Nova - please confirm

    Hi all. I came across this today. From what I can tell it is a Veritas Nova. What I don't know is what model and is the shade and globe original.

    Yes that is for sure a Nova Model P8055. That plate on the handle is unique to the type. You need to lose that old tray and odd globe. That glass will probably not stand the heat and is in any case wrong.

    Now this appears to be a Nova which are normally Nagel Chase model but this one has a Gloria burner set up. It is correct as I have it illustrated in some Nova paper. However I have never seen an example for real. For that reason I would like to see some shots of this with shade and shade holder removed, complete lamp and close ups of the valve and burner unit please. ::Neil::

    Unfortunately I have on sold this lamp so am not able to take any further pictures. I could see if the new owner could take some
