Have the Aussies or anotherone heard from this brand? It's an alcohol lamp, the lantern is a copy from a GRAETZIN 915 I got her from Australia
The only Radiolite brand I know of is From Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA but I don't think they made this. That US brand name dates from around 1910 to 1920 and may not have been valid outside the US so could have been used by another company or retailer in Europe. ::Neil::
Because of the air flow. The lamp is designed to take air between both globes and then the hot air flows through the burner and lamp chimney together wiht the burned gas. Here,Wim's web site ,there is a cross section of the lamp and there you can understand the air flow.
I found this in an Australian paper. 14 Sept 1911. And 24 March 1911. They were advertised a fair bit from 1911 to 1914 and then just dropped off. Trove shows a number of hospitals getting the 200cp model for hospital surgery.
