Here is my example of AGM 1225. They are a modified form of model 1200 which had a pricker mechanism built onto the generator head. I suspect this was not a successful burner and the lamps were modified in the factory by inserting a bush in the burner casting so that a more normal coil type match lighting generator could be used. This model is not listed in any AGM catalogue I know of but the lamp is illustrated in a Stanleys of London flyer as model 1225 and since Stanleys always used the original manufacturers model numbers we can be sure that this modified lamp is AGM 1225. I have had this lamp for about 15 years but only discovered its correct model number about a year ago. I had never bothered to try to run it until now. It needed a little fettling. I inserted a new 3mm steel ball in the filler/inlet valve and replaced the rubber cap seal. I had to replace the mantle tubes with a pair of Coleman tubes because the originals had badly damaged mantle caps. The original generator was an AGM coil type and I replaced this with a new Coleman Q77. ::Neil::
