I'm sure you are correct, Jeff.
JR, it would be nice with more detailed pictures.

Ok, will do. I'm new to this forum and do not quite have the flow down yet. Seems much less bogged down than CCF is so I did not wanot to overdo it. More models to come as well.

Thanks JR. It's hard to overdo the postings here.
The idea with the section called "The reference gallery" is maninly to collect as many lamps as possible. It's to gather a source for collectors to watch and study when e.g. trying to restore a particular lamp.
That's why it's good with many details showing, like close-ups of the burner system and other interesting details.
And just as we like pictures of restored lamps very much, we really love pictures of lamps that are un-touched and as original as possible. Those are the best for reference.

So you are a Coleman collector and also a member of CCF, then?
I like that. We need many more Americans posting their lamps here. Hopefully you can show us many nice US and Canadian lamps. We have way too few of those on display in here, so keep them coming.

Very nice indeed. I have a couple of green ones, but no blue.

I started with Coleman as those are easy to come by here in Wisconsin. But of late I've branched out into other brands as the Coleman items I desire are all the hard to find and expensive ones. I will work on more gallery contributions and have a few I've noticed are not represented here yet.

This is Sears model 7416-L14 sold from Fall 1933 to Spring 1935. I have one of these and they are a solid and very well made lantern. Not at all common as they were only on sale in four catalogues so two years max. ::Neil::

Thank you Neil. I knew it was about that timeframe. Would you like me to adjust my date range in the OP or is your update sufficient for the record?

JR, I have amended the title accordingly.

When new information comes up later in a thread, and this happens quite often, we only change the title so it will be correct.
The rest of the text inside the post itself will be un-altered since everything will come clear in later posts.
    But the title is crucial.
