1951 mod.220D restored

    Recently I picked up a 1951 mod.220D. these are interesting models as they have a brass fount and no decal. Here are the before and after restoration pictures.

    That is a nice result and to me the colour looks spot on, often seen as not spot on - welldone bringing this old one back to glory :thumbup:

    These are perhaps the best of the 220/228 series being the last of the brass fount models. Very good workhorse lanterns that typically run well. ::Neil::
