I received this 310 in a terrible state, incredibly it had not been fired but been left to rot underneath a workshop bench. The cap was almost rotten away, on inspecting the inside of fount it was spotlessly clean with no evidence of fueling. After 30 hours of various grades of wet n dry, 3 hours on mop, this is result. Forgive me for cap but I have 2 of these an this beautiful lamp absolutely deserves one!!
The 310 is my favourite bialaddin.

I'm not one for the polished brass look, but I'd certainly make an exception for this beauty! :)

I absolutely agree with you on the polished metalwork look I did think over very hard about paint as the brass plate that was used for tank had deep roller marks all across it, but I have painted my last 2 fettling projects an I had the one peice brass cap waiting for something beautiful, an myself an my very sore hands are extremely happy with the finished lantern.
Its the shape of the 310 looks like a beautiful woman lol.
