Cause and effect

    Last night I converted a 242 to Kerosene with a 201 so now I've got an extra 200A genny with nothing to do

    Enters a 228 and donor parts exchanged

    makeshift alky preheat until I get a pre-heat cup

    There was a little oscillation/pulsate that seemed to smooth out with more pressure. I'm going to play around with the brass mesh and try to improve vaporization. Advise welcome.

    Well, looking at these pics I've solved the problem,. I was pulling the spring and mesh in an out trying to bend the spring tip to center the cleaning needle. I apparently installed the guts into the 200A by mistake. That's ok because I took it back apart and flopped the spring and brass mesh putting the mesh UP closer to the heat source. Now I just need pre-heat cup and clip

    Problem solved
