Ebay seller/buyer

Has anyone had any dealings with leeboibiketec on ebay, twice he's been the top bidder then, no contact or payment...

 

Yes but only as a seller (i.e me as purchaser) - I think it's a case of trying to buy cheap & sell expensive with them.

 

Same here. I bought a lantern from him via eBay on a BIN. The price was OK and it arrived very quickly although he hadn't packed it particularly well and not as I'd asked him to. Nonetheless, it survived the courier and was exactly as listed. He pestered me for feedback a couple of times, he said so that he knew the lantern had arrived and I was happy with it. I never give feedback when solicited so he got an email instead.

Subsequently he got in touch and offered me a decent Tilley SDR. He wouldn't name his price but wanted me to make him an offer. I already had a nicer one so I left it at that...

 

Well, if you are the seller then there are two options. First, open a non-paying bidder dispute, he will have to pay or receive a strike against his account.

However, if he does pay, he may retaliate by saying the item has not arrived or is damaged/not as described, so do send the item by a fully tracked courier (not Royal Mail Signed For).

If he claims the item is not as described or damaged then ask him to return the items for a refund and pay for the return if he asks, do not wait for a case to be opened. Hopefully you will get your item back unharmed.

Or, if this seems like too much hassle, which it really is, then the second option is to add him to your blocked bidder list, tighten your buyer requirements and move on.

 

Actually, best to add him to your blocked bidder list first.

 

I bought something from him and it arrived quickly and was packed ok, although it did arrive with a full tank of fuel.

 

I had a Primus 96 tank off him which was (thankfully) empty although to protect it he'd parcel taped packaging to it - resulting in a lot of sticky residue...

 

Well he finally sent a message, saying he was ill and sorry, that ill that he managed to list 5 items and not be able to press the 'buy now' button..probably dandruff

 

Which might suggest, then, that he is a reader of this august organ...

Hi guys Yep he pulled out as high bidder due to sickness also I cancelled his bids on other item .
Caused chaos to my listings Had to relist and it annoyed other bidders .

 

He actually left feedback after I cancelled the transaction I had the another bidder asking me if I had sold it twice over done the usual with Ebay but it is always too late when they act ..

 

Definitely one to add to the blocked bidder list then!
