Great score Heres an advert for it http://classicpressurelamps.com/index.php?threads/1178 I would like to find one like that, but can always hope.
[color:black]The hood is an interesting bit, three piece had together with a central screw, two cutouts on the lower section to attach the mica framework
You jammy bas.... See p31 in Jim Dick's book. You've got all the important bits so don't worry about the missing mica globe - Fred Kuntz will probably be able to sort you out with a passable replica. Who would know, anyway...
Fantastic lamp you got here norf never thought I would see one got to be very early 1924 maybe Great lamp Cheers pete
...My thoughts too!.....Great to see the Top and how it all comes together!... Very well done Mr. Norf !!!... Best wishes, PB
It might be one of you owning it in a few days time as its going on the bay of evil soon,we're doing some building work on the house at the moment and i'm selling various stuff off to fund the work , should I take dimensions / more photo's to record its details if it is such a rarety?
Ok, I'd be willing to take it off your hands in exchange for two dozen bricks. Seriously nice piece though, im sure you'll have no problem finding a new home for it.
Well that's me out then. I'll have to get my bid in early, so I can atleast put my name to it for an hour or so. 8)
