Very nice Juan. What kind of glass shade would it take? I would assume a fringed type, similar to the one they used on Petromax. Did it also use a parchment type of shade as one option?
I assume the same, Christer, perhaps similar to the ones used on Px lamps. Just a guess because is the second lamp I see. Sorry for the pics, the imagen optimizar reduces them too much. I'll try to upload them again. This afternoon I replaced the tank cap gasket, fitted a new mangle and I could light it. Excelente, brighty. Juan

Juan, Aida is a brand of the "Jakob Hirschhorn" company, Berlin / Germany. They were taken over at some time by Ehrich & Graetz.
I believe you are more likely to find the smallest Aidas and Petromaxes(100hk range) in Argentina than anywhere else on the planet.
I guess there are more in Thailand! Anyway, yes, once in a while some little lantern or lamp appears. Many German products were imported in Argentina before the WW 2 and there was no war here.
