Tilley X410 meeting new friends.

    Lucky find with the X410, as I never thought I would find one. I wish I had a before pic. But cleaned up nicely. a bit bent up tho. This vaporizer seems longer than a 246. I installed it on a 246 to test, and the burner wouldnt set on the cage? It was about a half inch high.

    Yep they have a pesky mid sized vapouriser. 196 far too long, 606 far too short. Mine won't be getting much use unless I find a box full of the correct type vapouriser. [-o<

    This vaporizer measures 5 1/4 inches from the top of the nut to the tip. I havent heard of this size? 1/4 longer than a 606?

    Thanks for the atta boys folks. I am really liking the X410.

    Yeah I could do with one of those. Is anyone still making brass Tilley vaps? Might be a way of making a custom length one. I had a go myself but I couldn't figure out how to do the pricker.

    That's a good point actually James, I wonder if the chap in Korea that was/is selling those vapourisers on eBay would be able to get them made up. :-k
