Found an interesting lantern bit of a mix eye brand on fount and reflector petromax on hood anyone know much about the eye brand and its compatibility with petromax
There are two Eye brand lanterns. One is from the Lea Hin Tingkwon factory in Hong Kong and the other is from Italy. I wold expect the Italian made type to be marked as made in Italy. The HK lantern was pretty well made and like most Lea Hin product should be compatible with Petromax parts. ::Neil::

Probably Hong Kong then. Both are rare. I have only seen one Italian one which is marked with country of origin. I know of two Hong Kong examples. The one in the Hong Kong Museum is marked on the tank with the eye logo and "Original Eye Brand 500cp" but there is no contry of origin marked. ::Neil::
