Evening, I recently purchased a lightly used military surplus FL6 Flood light with tripod and wooden crate and when I unthreaded the pump assembly from the tank, just the pump itself came out. The brass pump tube that contains the NRV was loose and was wedged inside the bottom of the tank. I took the entire upper portion of the lamp apart and was able to retrieve the tube. I see where it slides into the threaded cap, but was it initially soldered in place? I am thinking it was because there is a very small tinned area on the pump tube, but I just wanted to be sure before I solder it together. I have ordered a deluxe Tilley kit from Fettlebox and hope to have this really neat piece back up and running soon. Thanks in advance for any advice. Dan
Hello Dan, yes, it should be soldered and the link below shows an FL-6 pump, Jeff. Tilley FL- 6 pump.
