Greetings from a new member. I have an Anchor 909, sorry its not a classic, I was looking to fire it up, my first time, when I found the pricker needle was living in the jet, not fixed to its post so I removed it but not yet found how to replace needle, nor remove post, anyway I tried it out & it works, very bright compared to my old Tolley, anyone know about the needle ?
Hi Cosmo and welcolme to CPL! You can find parts in the UK from www.base-camp.co.uk Whereabouts are you? Please dont apologise for your lamp, we love all lamps here! regards pb
The new needle screws into the post with a special tool, which base camp also sell: 119 Key for cleaning needle There is a guide on how to refurbish a Petromax 829 which is mostly applicable to the Anchor: http://light.papo-art.com/tech-n-info/Petromax_technical/restore_pmax_dissassemble.html
