Here is my X246A from November 1962. It was given to me by a neighbour and I cleaned it up and got a new set of seals, a mantle and a vapouriser from Base Camp in Littlehampton. They are so helpful and kind. Filled it with paraffin and here it is... It is wonderful. I saw a nice shiny chrome plated X246B, which I couldn't pass by, so it looks like I've started a collection. I'll post the pics of the X246B in that section. I can't believe how much light these things put out, and how long they keep going on the pressure without needing to re-pump.
