Tilley X246B - how much fuel to "fill" from empty?

    As per subject line, how much fuel is considered normal, to fill to the recommended maximum from empty?

    One and a half imperial pints is max. Then a total of 100 pump strokes to full pressure. ::Neil::

    (For anyone reading this in the future, 1.5 Imperial pints is equal to 852 mL)

    I wonder how long a Tilley X246B would run for on a full fill (as above).........

    EDIT = I found the answer(ish) on this very forum, HERE. It seems that 1.25 pints = 10 hours, so 1.5 pints should be around 12 hours.

    Or even longer if you run it at less pressure with regular pumping. Only really worth it if you a seriously low on paraffi.
