While restoring a Petromax 500CP, I decided to keep the glass globe safe. I found out that a Coleman glass globe is the exact same size as seen here.

So hopefully anyone with a cracked or broken globe and source out coleman glass as an alternative.

    Nice work Ron.

You can use the yellow globes too. What Coleman lantern was that globe is that from?

    Ah thanks Ron.

So CL2 or 288 lanterns had dimming features. I think that globes fit the 220.

The bigger 220 will not fit a petromax

Thanks Doron that's right. Took a look at the globe chart after and figured it out. I wanted to know if amber and red globes could be used.

JAFE decorating can stain any borosilicate (pyrex) globe in either red or yellow. The work is top quality and the price is reasonable. I had an Optimus 930 globe stained and even the Optimus logo remained intact.
