Hello everyone, we have just started to evaluate the new Vapalux Korea lanterns.
Pictured below is a rather nice red M320

Note the brass jet cleaner knob, build quality is excellent.

Nice touch, Vapalux logo on the pump knob

Fitted with tradition vitrous enamel reflector. Powder coated reflectors will also be available.
When evaluation is finished the first stock of lamps and spares will be shipped over to us.
    Look out for news....!

Nice looking lamp. Is that a brass handle as well? I also notice they've done away with the ring around the frame. I think I want one! Any idea of prices yet?

    Looking good! :D/

The logo on the pump-knob is a nice touch, particularly if it's machined in. I reckon it won't last long if it's painted or otherwise transferred on, though.

I was concerned that the Korean stuff would be a very pale imitation of the UK product, somewhat akin to those nasty, clanky P'max clones that rust at the first sight of a cloud. I needn't have worried, though - it looks at least as good and, dare I say it, possibly better than the Halifax output. A metal jet cleaner knob - there's posh! About 70 years since a Vapalux has sported one of those...

It looks well made, perhaps the company could be encouraged to make a table lantern, (note that I said a table lantern not a table lamp).
