H View attachment 52000 I recently acquired this unfired, untouched badged Knight Light sporting an Otto Bernz pump. It’s copper plated over steel and has the single burner AGM 335 torchlight assy I suspect it’s dated around 1917 but I’m not sure what model it is as Neil has a couple of options on his catalog , 312 and ?? . Very happy to have this one and the temptation to fire a 100 you old lantern is killing me !! If anyone has any more info I’d love to here from you
Nice find @Akeepsake It intrigued me that it had an inbuilt pump but also had the valve in the filler cap for an external pump. This article gives a possible explanation. Knight Light Lantern with Otto Bernz Pump.
Hi Rob055 thanks for the article! Yes I’ve read similar and tend to agree that these were a “after fit” by OB I know of two other identical ones
I have seen a few of these. It's a Knight Lite model 312 with an aftermarket OB pump. I suspect it was a factory job perhps by OB and should be considered as an official variation of 312. ::Neil::
