Hi from down under , the Southern Hemisphere Looking in the arcives I see that a few other forum members have these . I think this is a 2M model ? It has a steel fount, the generator is missing . I am pretty new to collecting lanterns but I hope to have this running one of these days. Mike

G'day Mike and welcome to CPL. I gather it takes two mantles (M2)? Can't see from the photo. Your lantern looks in good condition but it's a pity not having the generator. I believe a new one can be made from a Coleman generator but can't remember which one. It's here, on the site somewhere. Good luck getting it going and ask specific questions with pictures if you need some advice.

Hi Phil, Its me from the Coleman forum. Martin, Ok thanks for that information . The conical shaped shield on the generator maybe some kind of heat shield ? Looks like a bras tube with the shield silver soldered on ?

Tony That is an outstanding example you have ! It has survived almost 100 years in like new condition. This one here apparently has got a steel fount , I can see surface rust poking through the edges. The green colour fount , it seems to be the original paint. Maybe this one here is the basic model and yours is the Deluxe model !
Looks like this guy has used a flare nut and flared the end of the tube . Nulite 2M Not sure how this fettle would fit into the original Nulite fitting ?
@Handi-man No. If you enlarge the last photo you can see he has cut the flare off then transferred the olive and nut from the old generator to the Q77 generator and made a new skirt. @Handi-man It's a long shot but you could try TW Sands in Melbourne. They might have a generator??? Kerosene lighting Melbourne – T W Sands & Co
Hi Martin Ah yes I see it now. I could probably make an olive on my lathe but a little watchmakers or jewellry lathe would be more suitable for these delicate jobs. Mike
