5B9E4664-61DF-41DD-9BD8-EDF41CB75D25.jpeg Can anyone tell me if the large brass outer ring on the pump can be removed to access the seal? And what is the small hole in the ring for?
I just unscrewed the large ring on the pump on the Tl120 with no problem.

I think on those pumps the ring is fixed and you just have to dig the old seal out. The little holes are for the air pressure to release through when the pump is slackened after use. Some I’ve got where the hole is blocked, the air pressure doesn’t vent properly and when the pump is fully unscrewed the pump comes out with a pop.

A small sharpened screwdriver is useful for removing the old seals.
