Very Nice. What was the quality like between Coleman lamps and ones Coleman manufactured for others including Sears? On a par?
As far as I know. Sears was the only company that Coleman made lanterns for. The quality was as good as Coleman"s lanterns were. Sears lanterns are very collectable. They were only produced for about 10 years starting in 1963.
Coleman made lamps for Sears from 1919 to 1927, 1946 to 1958 and as you say 1964 to 1978. They did make lamps for others as well. They made lamps for the Sunshine Safety Lamp Co for a few years up to 1916 and from 1923 to 1926. They also made for Yale although to be fair only after they had bought the company. ::Neil::
