WL26 restore

    Just about finished restoring 2 wall lamps One has Tilley-England stamped on it. Can anyone here possibly date these lamps.

    They are both post 1939, because in 1940 Tilley started to use the GF., control cock and the short socket for it.

    The one I can see with the logo and name stamped on the tank is 1957 to 1961 ish and should have a date stamp in the base plate. If the other lacks the logo stamps it will not be dated but is 1950 to 1954. ::Neil::

    Thanks Jeff and Neil, I know mine, the one without the markings has no date stamp. The one with the stamp, the one I am doing for a friend i will check on. Think I have pics of both bottoms.
