This is a twin mantle 300 cp kerosene lantern. Owned by Ernie Hiat. I photographed this one a few years back when I had the oportunity to browse through Ernie's collection. I think this example only has a pricker control so no shut off valve. The pump is a European type with a single check valve.
Me too. Although it was standing next to a second example painted green if memory serves. Ernie had an amazing collection which was well worth the trip into deepest Indiana. ::Neil::
Very unique and nice piece. The big hat hood looks like the 227 or 228. But the collar is quite different from the other Coleman. And its for kerosene, so if that's a twin mantle, its certainly rare.
